If you own a C6, you need to talk to MMI about their billet aluminum front license plate brackets. I saw one of their products on a new C6 the other day and was amazed. The quality is outstanding. Not only do they look great, there strong too! Link to the following for pics and info: http://zr1netregistry.com/ZR1_merchandise.htm

Man - talk about overengineered! That thing is overkill. |laugh| I'd like to see the same design with a hinge so it "lay backs" at speed, to get out of the airstream...talk about overengineering. |eek|

That is a very nice bracket, but if you use a bug bra, check on the SpeedLingerie bra with removeable plate pocket. They do not have a picture on their web site yet, but it should be posted soon. These are expensive units ($550.00+), but I have one for each of my C5's, and they are the best - no paint abrasion, as with every other bug bra I have ever used, no paint boil if left on wet (unavoidable on a 2002 Route 66 trip), and I can vouch for their claim that they stay on the nose up to 150 MPH. I will use one my Triple 6 when it comes.

I like the looks of that one. I'm sure other creative
people will be bringing their rendition to market too.
Maybe a snap on to install when you hit the road. I'm
sure others are working something else.
